The story line

Dead Ringer

To sum up our story line in basic form, what it is, is that there is a doppelganger and he is trying to kill his double because he is jealous of his life.
( persons name) he is OCD and he has to have all of his thing straight and his doppelganger goes into his house and moves objects around and this is a horror convection.
the main charector has a dopple charector and he has the opposite personalty to the main charectore, and though the film the doppleganger  does things to ( persons name ) like torments him and also commits crimes and ( persons name) has to try and find himself,
the way this is a horror is the way that the killer is and the way the movie is made.

Mind Map

The pitch

Pitch

The film opens with an establishing shot of a house, it looks regular with nothing out of the ordinary (Sammy’s), the shot then fades to black with no music. The house then moves to a closer establishing shot, it then moves to a first person shot which walks towards the window, watching the main character doing his normal routine. (Background noise: dog-barking/cars etc.)

The main character is quite OCD, who walks around his house after just coming home from work, he will be straightening towels in the bathroom/tidying up/fixing things. He will be taking off his jacket and hanging it up, making sure it is perfectly straight and on the door correctly. He will be making himself a drink (tea?) in a particular way, with the teabags in a certain position and the cup straight and in line etc. Throughout this there will be several first person shots of the camera hiding behind objects like a sofa etc. it will be then watching character from hidden positions, whilst the main character is checking his phone, in which there will be shots of text messages between him and an unknown number, getting increasingly creepy with each message.

1.      First shot in house when you walk through the door will be a high angle, that looks like a CCTV camera, this is to show that he is being watched.
2.      Second shot is a medium close up, this will show that he feels he is being watched and someone is after him.
3.      Third shot high angle as he walks into the kitchen, this is to show he is still being watched. These three shot are match on action shots.
4.      Next shot a medium shot of him straightening things out.
5.      Then goes into an extreme close up of him moving objects.
6.      Then low angles close up of his face from the angle of objects.
7.      Medium close up of radio. Radio turns on and he looks at it
8.      High angle shot as he hangs up coats and straightening them out.
9.      Medium close up with tracing shot as he get closer to the toaster.
10.  Extreme close up of the toaster.
11.   A low angle shot from the toasters point of view.
12.  Medium close up of the character, turns to look at the radio because he is scared.
13.  Camera tracks the character as he runs to the radio.
14.  Character leads into the shot  (medium close up)
15.  Extreme close up of the radio as he turns it off.
16.  Medium shot and the character looks at the text
17.  First person shot moves towards the character
18.  Character moves into the living room

The main character will look very smart and presentable, with the doppelganger looking the complete opposite, scruffy and messy.
